make_date

The make_date() function creates a date value from separate year, month, and day fields.

Syntax

MAKE_DATE(year, month, day)

Arguments

  • year: The year, as an integer.

  • month: The month, as an integer from 1 to 12.

  • day: The day of the month, as an integer.

Return type

date

SELECT MAKE_DATE(2026, 9, 1);
 make_date
------------
 2026-09-01
